Bio

Ademola Omolehinwa is a highly experienced accounting, finance and management consulting professional with a distinguished career spanning audit, internal control, financial services, advisory and professional training.

He trained with a leading international firm of chartered accountants, where he advanced to the position of Audit Manager. During this period, he led and supervised a wide range of assignments covering statutory audit, tax management, management consultancy, accounting systems design, internal control development, and manpower planning and recruitment services for major organisations across different sectors.

He later held senior roles in the financial services sector, including leadership responsibility for internal control and financial services functions. These roles strengthened his expertise in finance and accounts oversight, information systems, internal controls, business advisory and operational governance. Across his career, he has built a strong reputation for technical depth, sound professional judgement and practical business solutions.

Ademola is also widely recognised for his long-standing contribution to professional education and capacity building. He is one of the founding directors of a leading accountancy tuition centre in Nigeria and has, for over two decades, trained students preparing for professional examinations in ICAN, CIS, CFA and ACCA. He has also supported the delivery of in-house professional training programmes for staff of leading audit and financial institutions.

His specialist areas include financial management, cost and management accounting, strategic financial management, security analysis and portfolio management, and risk management. In addition, he has been actively involved in IFRS conversion and advisory engagements, financial analysis, audit, forensic accounting and technical finance training for leading banks and financial institutions.

Ademola has contributed significantly to professional literature and learning through his authored works, including: Management Accounting now in its 5th edition, Strategic Financial Management now in its 3rd edition, and Performance Management.
